MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello Interliners ,

I hope that you all kept safe during these hurricanes.

I do know from your emails that some of you had no electricity, others had trees and debris in their driveways and gardens. Some of you had their patio screens torn from flying debris. Roy and I suffered landscape loss, a few trees were uprooted!  Our big oak tree was cut in three places but all is well.

As you know we had to cancel our garage sale TWICE. We are not having one as we did not have many items donated from you all. So Kiki, our WACA representative is going to attend the Convention, but we do not have much to give to the orphans of Cha'am. You still have time to donate a few dollars for these children. Just mail a little check to me before October 14th or you can give us cash at our get together.

We would appreciate your feedback and suggestions for upcoming events. Thanks Pete Munro for your suggestion.

Pete has suggested the Catch Twenty Three which is in West Chase. It is at a very good price and it includes wine, appetizer, main dish and desert. We hope that you can all let us know by October 11 of your attendance so as to book in advance a table for all of us to sit together.

At the September 16, 2004 draw the prize of US$150 went to Birgit Sigurjonsson from the IC of Iceland and the second prize of US$ 100 went to Ourania Eliadou of the Cyprus IC    (my ex Interline Club and secretary). Congratulations to all!!!
