Hello Interliners,

We hope that you are all keeping well, happy and healthy.

Our Valentine dinner went well at the Colonnade Restaurant. We are very pleased to welcome our new members Ken Anderson, recently retired from Northwest and Jeane Emery, who worked for CO, US and NW. Our St. Pat's get together will be on March 15 at O'Brien's Pub on Dale Mabry.

Auckland IC is busy getting their 2007 package ready. Below is some information so if you are planning to attend put in your leave early!

We thank all those of you who have renewed your membership. We hope to see you all at our get together for Saint Patrick. Please feel free to contact us for any queries and any help you need.

Yours in Interlining,

WACA UPDATE

Executive Committee Meeting
An excellent and most productive Executive Committee (EC) Meeting was held in Calgary on 3/4 February. The EC were welcomed to Calgary with traditional Western Canada hospitality by hosts Regional V.P. North America, Elaine Miller and her husband, Joe. The meeting was held prior to the commencement of Calgary Interline Club’s ski package “Winter Wonderland” so interliners arriving for the event were able to meet the EC at a special social function arranged by the Club. Apart from Elaine and Joe, the EC would like to express its sincere appreciation and thanks to WACA Members of Honor, Pamela Smith and Trevor Thredgold, as well as to the President of the Calgary Interline Club, Kim Evans, and her team for all the help and assistance to ensure the meeting was such a success. A summary of the minutes will be circulated in due course once they have been prepared and approved.

41st Annual General Assembly (AGA)
Member Clubs are reminded that, in accordance with 2.4 of the Bylaws, any Club that wishes to host the 41st AGA in 2008 should submit its intention in writing to the Secretary General by the end of April this year. All submissions will be published and distributed in due course and the 39th AGA in October this year will decide a time and place accordingly.

Regional Meeting
There is a correction to the Far East and Australasia Regional Meeting and Charity Bowl brochure. The e-mail for more information should be addressed to acs.admin@gmail.com

We will go down one side to the bottom of the island and scoot up the other for a little way and then cut back inland to come up the middle to the starting place....now that has got you all thinking  ..those who have been here before can get out there maps or atlas and try and guess.

There will be a welcome dinner (kiwi style) 13 big breakfasts, 1 cruise lunch ,8 hotel dinners,1 Resort dinner, 1 dinner up on a side of a hill and a farewell dinner. so you will not go hungry.
