MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT                                        

Hello Interliners,

Hope you are all keeping well and had a lovely Thanksgiving. 

We are Proud to announce that the Florida Interline Club has been awarded the Newsletter Club of 2006 for Media and Communications, at the AGA in Shangai.

.

We want to congratulate the new WACA EC and a special welcome to Ann Lenehan-Gritis our new RVP, from the Washington IC. We wish all the best to the outgoing RVP Elaine Miller.

The Anna Marie island event was replaced with a night out at Bahama Breeze as interliners did not want to drive that far. The sunset cruise was cancelled due to weather conditions and we know most of you were disappointed. We cannot control the weather conditions. Our next get together is our Xmas Cocktail at the President's house. You are all invited. It is on the 1oth of December at 6:30pm.

WACA Events Calendar - 2007

Cabbage Tour
The Airlines Club Frankfurt E.V. has produced a detail brochure of its "Cabbage Tour" which will be based in Wardenburg located between Bremen and the Netherlands border. Interliners should note that the date of the tour has changed to 3/4 March.

Discovery China
Two fabulous tours are being organized by the Hong Kong Interline Club Association Ltd. The first tour "Minority Cultures of Guizhou and Guangxi" will take place from 25 April-4 May and the second tour "Roof of the World - Spiritual Tibet" will be from 5-14 May. Yet another great opportunity for interliners to discover amazing and surprising China. 

Jordan Adventure
The Jordan Interline Club still want you to "Experience Jordan" but they have given a new title to the annual event "Jordan Adventure" which will be held from 20-25 October. Interliners from all over the world are invited to sample some genuine Jordan hospitality.

16th Kiwi Package - CANCELLED
Following a difficult decision earlier this year to cancel the Kiwi Package, the Auckland Interline Club has found it necessary to cancel its 2007 Kiwi Package. A great deal of organisation has gone into preparing "The Southern Relaxer" but, unfortunately, insufficient registrations have been received.
 

Inter-Regional Get Together
The European Region and the Indian Ocean Islands and Middle East Region are inviting all interliners to join them in Prague from 20-22 April for an "Inter-Regional Get Together". Their respective Regional Meetings will be held during the Get Together but a sightseeing tour and river cruise awaits all participants.
 

Regional Meeting
The North American Regional Meeting will be held in sunny San Diego from 11-13 May. Delegates and participants will be treated to a dinner cruise following the meeting.

N.B. Participation at a Regional Meeting is open to all interliners not just Meeting delegates.

Grand Venture Bonanza
Prizes are being solicited by V.P. International Events and Special Projects, John Aarons, for the 2007 Grand Venture Bonanza. Can your Club donate a prize to assist WACA in this revenue generating initiative? John would love to hear from you.
