Assembly, which took place in Tampa Florida, USA. Poppy
Shiakalli Bowen / Cyprus Airways,
past WACA Vice-President Public
Relations, WACA member of honor, and, Kiki Williamson /Sabena, member-at-large, met at Kiki's house in
Sarasota and talked about getting an interline club started. Kiki
would email all her airline friends and Poppy would advertise in the
local newspapers.
On January 14th, 2004
Poppy and Kiki had lunch with 5 other airline
employees. Claudette Austin/Delta, Roland
Schoubert/Cyprus Airways, Bill Moore,
Ardyth Bahr and Hasel
Smith/Continental.
The lunch was to discuss the formation of the
Florida Interline club. which would unite and promote the
activities of the club through the State of Florida and interline
clubs throughout the world.
The objective of the formation of the club is to promote and
encourage friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding among
airline personnel active and retiree.
